The other day I walked into my local country post office and after greeting the lady behind the counter guess what I saw? (Well ok apart from the various postage packaging etc that one would expect to see.....) In view, but off limits to the public I could see a large table, upon this I saw a sewing machine and sitting neatly beside it was a small stash of colour co-ordinated fabric pieces, also a cutting board and rotary cutter. Not far from the table was an ironing board complete with iron. Ho Humm wonder what she uses it for?????
Ahhh, imagine being able to layout your finished blocks, according to the pattern, the being able to move blocks around to get the right colour mix without the children re- arranging them for you as they run through the house playing chasey or whatever. Not that this has been a problem for me lately. I think my sewing machine would go into shock and I wonder if it even remembers how to do patchwork.......
