As promised here is a picture of "Miss Molly" our jersey heifer who is working for us as a lawn mower at the moment, note the length of the grass behind the wire. We can't keep on top of all the slashing so have been using the animals to do the job by electric fencing small areas for them and once all the grass has been eaten move them onto another area.
A while ago I was talking about moon planting. To our suprise, eldest DS and DIL got us a magazine subscription as a combined present and alas it has exactly what I was looking for - a moon planting guide. Needless to say we look forward to getting the mail at the beginning of the month, thanks guys.
Speaking of gardens, there is still quite a bit of work to be done in ours...... so I best get to it!
